Citytrip plans for the weekend

When I tell people about my weekend plans, they immediately frown. As if A’dam’s little sister Rotterdam isn’t worth paying a visit. Although there was no way back, I went for an online double check to validate my city selection. And yes, I found some reassuring tips, lovely must do’s and beautiful views. Check out my selection but notice that you’ll plan your R-trip soon.

Anne-Catherine Clo Clo’s choice
Miss Clo Clo is an enthusiastic lady who’s always seeking for the perfect setting. On her Instagram-account I spotted pictures of KEET, a nice concept store, and STEK, a small shop for plant lovers in the center of the city. She also recommends to visit Mercado, the brand new marketplace covered with a stunning ceiling, and to get lost in the area around the Pannenkoekenstraat. Thanks A.C.!

When Lori a.k.a. Buitenshuis guides you…
When planning a trip, always pass by Lori’s blog Buitenshuis first. Hotspot must be here middle name. On her blog, I found out that Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel tipped Rotterdam as one of the top 10 must-visit cities in the world in 2016. Now that’s what I call a confirmation. She told me to pass by PARQIET in the morning and check out rotisserie Alan & Pim’s at night. Will do, Lori, will do 😉

What Urban Moms say
On the Urban Moms blog I read about SUE – Sweet without Sugar, a brand concept by the Dutch by Kim Sue Palm. With here delicious sweet bites she wins over the Netherlands. Luckily, she opened a SUE shop in Rotterdam at the beginning of 2016.
